The Tuition Fee covers loan of books for the duration of the academic year and initial sports uniform. Parents will be invoiced for any books that are lost or damaged, or for replacement of sports uniforms.

Additional fees (including VAT)

Application fee: £300 (new students only)

Enrolment deposit: £1,800 (new students only)  The enrolment deposit is only refunded when the student leaves the school and if a full term’s written notice is given.

Capital Development fee: £2,000 for first year, then £300 per year thereafter

English level testing prior to admission: £90  Students applying for Grade 9 - 12 for whom English is not their first language will need to take a test, in person or online. 

Home Language: Fees are bespoke depending on the size of the language class. Precise costs will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.

Intensive English (Grade 9 - 12 students requiring a specialised EAL programme only): £2,370 per year

IB Assessment: £996  For students entering G12 the one-off Diploma Programme Exam Fee or the Careers-related Programme fee covers the cost of registration and examination fees charged by the International Baccalaureate. This does not cover the costs of November re-sits.

Lunch: £1,820 per year (optional)  A hot meal cooked in school is available for all students but it's not compulsory. Students are allowed to bring a packed lunch if they prefer. One-half term’s written notice is required for cancellation of the service. Lunch is not provided to Grades 11 & 12.

Transport: £3,750  Transport can only be offered on a two-way basis. Please note transport is not available for students taking part in extra-curricular activities after school. One half term’s written notice is required for the cancellation of the service. There is no transport available for G11 & 12 students.

Extra-curricular: Most activities and clubs are provided free of charge by ISL staff. Some activities provided by external specialists may incur an extra charge and will be presented termly.
