Founder's Award

To mark our continued commitment to excellence and our local community, ISL is proud to announce the launch of the Founder’s Award, in memory of Nadim Makarem who established ISL in 1972.

This exclusive initiative is designed to welcome local families into our world-class learning environment by providing a significant, long-term reduction in fees.

We believe in transparent, accessible education. The Founder’s Award offers a fixed tuition fee based on your child's year group.

Eligibility & criteria

There are 60 Founder’s Awards available. To qualify, families must meet the following criteria:

  • Local residency:  You must demonstrate that you have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years (since 2021).  
  • Documentation:  Evidence can include your child’s UK school records for this period or copies of utility bills dating back to 2021.
  • No entrance tests:  Admission under this award is based on eligibility and availability, not competitive testing.

How to apply

  1. Submit your evidence: Send your proof of residency (school records or utility bills) directly to FoundersAward@isllondon.org
  2. Submit your application: Use the ISL admissions portal via OpenApply
  3. Application fee waiver: There is no fee to apply for the Founder’s Award

We encourage interested families to submit their documentation as soon as possible to secure one of the 60 available awards.

*This rate is not a one-off. The Founder’s Award fees will apply for the entirety of your child’s education at ISL, adjusted annually by cost-of-living (or inflationary) increases.
