What to expect around the school
ISL is well located for a number of lovely neighbourhoods, as well as being convenient for both accessing Heathrow airport and getting into the centre of London.
Chiswick
Chiswick is a short walk to the east of the school. This charming neighbourhood borders the River Thames with housing that includes Victorian cottages, Edwardian terraces and large riverside mansions on tree-lined streets and riverside paths. Chiswick High Street is a wonderful place where you will find independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Ealing
Ealing is a popular commercial and retail centre, best known for its film studios, the oldest in the world. Ealing has varied housing stock including grand family homes, Victorian homes and the prestigious Dickins Yard development.
Kew
Kew is another popular area for our families. The neighbourhood is famous for Kew Gardens, the famous Royal Botanical Gardens. Kew is characterised by large detached houses, riverside properties and the popular Kew Riverside development.
Brentford
Brentford is home to several new riverside apartment complexes popular with ISL families as well as the local football stadium for Brentford FC - the Bees as they are affectionately known!
