Life at the college

At ISL, we are proud to be the most culturally diverse international school in London and this is reflected in the Diploma College where students will meet and chat in many different languages along with English.

We believe this creates a rewarding and fulfilling personal experience, with students learning to embrace diversity and tolerance, while freeing themselves of cultural barriers.

From its inception, the international diversity of graduating classes at the College has been testified to by the number of IB bilingual Diplomas awarded each year – on average, 75% of our graduating class have a qualification that demonstrated their bilingualism in English and another language, which is three times the international average and unequalled in the UK.

Our students come also from a range of family backgrounds, whether UK nationals, long-term international residents of the UK, or families professionally relocated to the UK.

For all, the ISL IB Diploma College is a welcoming meeting place, where young people grow as they learn from each other.
