Learning

The IB Diploma is a comprehensive and rigorous two-year curriculum that culminates in a set of external examinations taken by students in their final year at the school.

Students who successfully complete the Diploma demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, both in terms of mastery of a subject, as well as in the development of skills and discipline necessary for success in a competitive world.

The focus is on critical, reflective and holistic thinking, collaborative working, individual initiative, personal organisation and planning. Recent surveys have shown that universities value these skills very highly.

Student Agency

The ISL IB Diploma College 3-to-1 support model has the student as its centre. This indicates not only that student support is personalised, but also that the student is the decision-maker. We build into our programme the expectation that students are equipped to make well-informed, balanced decisions about their learning, their personal development and their futures.
