At ISL, in as much as our day to day practice, academic rigour manifests itself as a result of our teaching and learning approaches.
We expose students to authentic learning in our modern world, leading to meaningful challenge. Our teachers are experts in their field and bring best practice based on academic research into and beyond our classrooms.
2020 Results Explained
In 2020, our ISL graduates averaged 35.2 points (of a possible 45), with 78% of our graduates achieving an IB Bilingual Diploma.
This is an exceptional achievement, well above the world average of 29.9 points. Our highest individual score, achieved by two graduates, was 44 points, with a 100% pass rate.
IB programmes are designed to provide not only a qualification, but also the mindset and skills for lifelong learning. At the Diploma College, we support students in making informed choices about future pathways in education and beyond.
Our students remain key members of the ISL community even long after they have graduated.
Through our Alumni Programme, we continue to support ISL alumni in the next phase of their journey into further education and their careers, as well as keep them connected with the school, their teachers and fellow ISL students.
