Student Agency
Student voice is at the heart of everything we do at ISL.
Our students engage with global issues ranging from human rights and conflict to the environment and governance, learning about the ways in which they can create positive change in the world with self-initiated projects at a local and international level.
Student Government
The Student Government has elected representatives for each year group, who meet regularly to discuss topics and issues effecting students. These are then brought to senior leadership who respond and act accordingly.
Student agency refers to the level of autonomy and power that a student experiences in the learning environment. Student voice and agency are intrinsically linked. Agency gives students the power to direct and take responsibility for their learning, creating independent and self-regulating learners.
Community Engagement
Engaging with our local and international communities is an integral and inspiring part of the ISL experience that empowers our students to make a positive difference on campus, in their community, and beyond in service of others.
Careers Guidance
ISL provides a comprehensive range of resources, workshops and access to experts to guide our MYP and Diploma College students through career pathway exploration and higher education support.
