Welcome to the Middle Years Programme
The MYP (Middle Years Programme) provides a framework of learning that encourages students to ask questions and to understand how their learning in school matters in the ‘real world’. It emphasises intellectual challenge and fosters the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding and global engagement – essential qualities for young people with the potential to become global leaders. Through the study of eight subject groups that includes three language options, students develop a breadth and depth of knowledge, while building conceptual understandings.

ISL is proud of providing a safe and engaging learning environment where students in Grades 6-10 actively learn and challenge themselves.
Languages
ISL’s world-renowned Languages Programme is designed to develop students’ written and verbal proficiency across multiple languages in order to meet their current and future personal and academic language needs. The personalised Languages Programme is broad and flexible to meet the diverse needs of our multilingual students.
Residential trips
Our trips programme instils self-confidence and a sense of achievement through a positive experience outside of the classroom which is educational and enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. Most ISL trips have a strong Service Learning component in line with the values of our School.
Sports
With brand new sports facilities situated in neighbouring Gunnersbury Park, with the latest 4G football pitches, tennis courts, indoor sports hall with a viewing platform for parents, gym and studios for yoga and other activities – ISL has first-class sports facilities for our students.
