Classroom With Walls - Graffiti Art & Communication
Grade 7 Communication is working on an art unit this semester to reflect on the messages hidden behind artworks. What can art communicate? How does it express messages? Students discovered the artworks of American artist Keith Haring and created their own murals by drawing symbols on the classroom walls, inspired by Haring's subway drawings.
