Exploring Japanese culture as part of our secret mission
On Tuesday, Grade 5T visited the Three Wheels Shin Buddhist Temple in Acton. We are exploring Japanese culture as part of our preparation for the Festival of Lights. The students were greeted by a monk who explained the essence of Buddhism and the importance of reflecting on what we are grateful for on a daily basis. Students meditated for three minutes followed by a Japanese treat and green tea. We felt very welcome!
