A big congratulations to G11 Chinese acquisition students - Jurre and Jikai who achieved a very high score in their HSK Chinese proficiency test this year. Jurre took the level 2 test, and achieved 100 out of 100 in listening and 91 out of 100 in reading. Jikai, who has only learned Chinese for six months, scored 94 out of 100 in level 1 reading. Being China’s only standardised test of Mandarin language proficiency for non-native speakers, HSK test can be used to apply for a two-week summer camp and/or university scholarship in China. This is the fourth year ISL Chinese acquisition students have taken part in the HSK test, and our school’s passing rate is 100%. Huge well done!
