MYP Personal Project Exhibition - the highlights of MYP!

MYP Projects are the highlights of the MYP! These self-directed student-led projects enable our students to tap into their interests and to delve deep into their understanding of the world through four stages – investigating, planning, taking action, and reflecting.

G10 students have worked on their personal project, investigating the topic of their choice and creating a product as a result of their investigation. Going through the ups and downs of their journey, they have demonstrated and developed a range of skills which will prepare them for the IBDP and beyond – time-management, problem-solving, creativity, communication, perseverance and resilience, to name a few. To celebrate their achievements, we would have organised an exhibition in school, but this year we are exhibiting our students’ wonderful work online. The link below will take you to the ISL Personal Project 2020 website. I hope you enjoy the range of projects displayed here and share your congratulations with our students.

Once you've had a good look, you can visit this padlet to give your positive feedback to our grade 10 students and they can visit and see your comments

G8 students have worked on their community project this year, investigating the needs of their chosen community. Unfortunately, a lot of their planned action could not take place due to the current situation, but I had the privilege to listen to their presentations on Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19, which demonstrated their understanding and thoughtful intention. It was the first time ever that they have initiated a project of their own, but they tackled it with tenacity and resilience. Evidently, they enjoyed the communication and collaboration part of the project. Below is the list of community projects this year. I am sure you will join me in congratulating their achievements.
