Our first debate on a new unit of inquiry

This week Grade 3W started their new ‘Sharing the Planet’ unit, inquiring into ‘Finding peaceful solutions to conflict leads to a better quality of life’. We listened to a story about a boy who kept animals in captivity then released them. We started our Persuasive Writing unit by writing our opinion and supporting our opinion with reasons. Then we had our very first debate. Fantastic start to our new Inquiry, Grade 3W students!
