Parklife - Maths and minimalism
G9 are composing their version of the Blur Brit Pop classic Parklife for the Festival of Lights in the style of 1960s Minimalism. Mr D'Antonio kindly joined the class to explore how the students could use mathematical number sequences to adapt their musical cells to create a full performance piece in the manner of Reich, Glass, Riley et al.
