Across the Globe

Last year, Water House were victorious. How will you affect the destiny of this year's competition?

The Third ISL Inter-House Music Competition will take place in school on the morning of Thursday 30 June. It is a great, fun way to celebrate ISL music and our ISL Houses. Any student in the MYP and PYP can take part.

  • You can perform on your own or with a partner or group.
  • You can sing, rap, play a musical instrument.

Every entrant will earn points for their House. The PYP competition will take place in the classrooms and MYP in the sports hall.  The judge will be the composer and conductor, Mr Simon Rigby.

To enter, send an email or MS TEAMS message to Mr Amos Christie by Thursday 23 June. Be sure to include the following:

  1. your name(s),
  2. what instrument(s) you are playing - or if you are singing, and
  3. the name of your piece (no longer than 3 minutes please).

Bring your own backing track or piano accompaniment can be provided.

The event will run alongside the drama of the MYP Inter-House song competition where the whole MYP takes part. Coaches will come in from the London College of Music for a morning of group singing, choreography (possibly) and friendly competition.  Will it again be a case of Sweet Caroline for Water House or instead a moment of Another One Bites the Dust?  We shall see...
